FARMINGDALE, NY (WCBS 880) – Nearly one year ago, the remains of Mattia Filippazzo were stolen from her mausoleum at St. Charles Roman Catholic Cemetery in Farmingdale.

Police are still actively investigating this case.
There is a $35,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, but that reward is expected to increase within the next few days.

Longo said his “Nonna” was a “typical little Italian grandmother” who was a hard worker.
