NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Two adults and one teenager are under arrest for the murder of a corrections officer in Newark.

Prosecutors have charged 30-year-old Maurice Holstin, 22-year-old Laquann Reed and a 16-year-old in death of 32-year-old Debora Ferreira of Irvington.

Police say Ferreira was found shot inside her vehicle on July 31 after an attempted carjacking. She died at the hospital. 
The suspects are being charged with felony murder, carjacking and unlawful possession of a handgun.

Ferreira worked for the Essex County Corrections Department and was the mother of a 1-year-old daughter.
