CAPE MAY, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Coast Guard officials in New Jersey have determined that a civilian sailor reported missing after Hurricane Irene passed through state last weekend is safe and doing well.
The parents of 23-year-old Falcon A. Coast Guard officials soon learned Riley had been in Wildwood on Tuesday and told a store owner he was leaving for Cape Cod, Mass., that day. They later located a friend who said Riley had told him he would be out of touch for about a week until he reaches Cape Cod.
