B&C Morning Show: Mets Fans For Yankees!
Today was a pretty big day here at WFAN, as Tuesday marked the start of year No. 5 for this thing we call the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza.
It also marked the moment that Craig opened up the doors to his controversial 'Mets Fans for Yankees Church,' which is always met with mixed reviews -- and today was no different.
The idea behind the congregation is to offer Mets fans a reason to watch baseball - as it is all too common for the 'Not So Amazins' to have rendered themselves irrelevant by September.
With that said, the Mets are irrelevant, the 'church' doors are open wide and Craig is grinning from ear-to-ear. Boomer on the other hand, is not changing allegiances, choosing rather to continue being loyal to the Mets.
Speaking of the Yankees, their 11-10 victory over the Orioles in the Bronx was highlighted by rookie Jesus Montero and his 2 home runs. The win was the Bombers' 5th in a row and Craig continues to scratch his head trying to figure out how they are doing it.
The Yanks currently hold a 2.5 game lead over the Red Sox atop the AL East...
