Fashion's Night Out Draws Celebrities, Shoppers

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- What better way to kick off New York Fashion Week than with a late night shopping extravaganza?

Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber headlined Fashion's Night Out with an appearance at Dolce and Gabbana Thursday night. Several other celebrities could be found up and down Fifth Ave and in SoHo for special events, promotions and shopping opportunities.

Stars like Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Kardashian and Debra Messing also turned out for the event, which was launched in 2009 by New York Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
