B&C Morning Show: 'Brat Pack' Reporting, Tough Guy Craig & Updating Jerry

It seems Rob Lowe may not be the only member of the 'Brat Pack' reporting on the NFL these days, as Craig mentioned some other actors - who like Lowe  made a name for themselves in the 80's - that are apparently working as beat reporters for select NFL teams.

On the subject of venturing out, Craig is going to be hosting a brand-new show on Spike TV called 'MMA Junkie Live' (premieres February 23rd at 11pm EST) and judging by the promo picture will be playing the role of 'bad a--' or the newest member of 'Color Me Badd.'

Speaking of 'bad a--es,' well-known bad boy Jerry Recco was on hand to deliver his first update of the morning and the first cut was from Tom 'kiss my a--' Coughlin talking about better tomorrows.  Antrel Rolle uses his medical background to declare Eli Manning will be just fine.  Hakeem Nicks showed little concern for his quarterback's unfortunate health, as the star receiver was not even aware Eli was under the weather.

Chris Canty plays defense, so he doesn't have time to worry about Manning's tummy ache because he is a little preoccupied puttin' in work and  talking about bloodbaths in relation to Sunday's NFC Championship game.

We also heard from 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh on what he expects from his team, mother nature and the development of Alex Smith.  As for Justin Tuck, he isn't much worried about the wet forecast and Canty isn't much worried about Alex Smith.

The Jets aren't in the playoffs, but making headlines nonetheless.  LaDainian Tomlinson was on Showtime's 'Inside the NFL' and shed some light on the Jets fractured locker room, specifically the relationship between Mark Sanchez & Santonio Holmes.  Jerry provided the audio while Boomer & Craig provided the commentary (perfect combination).

Plus, we hear from Bill Belichick & Joe Flacco on the AFC Championship game, the Knicks lose again - 91-88 to the Suns @ the Garden - their 4th straight loss, 6-8 overall.  Mike D'Antoni is talking crisis, Amar'e Stoudemire is searching for answers, while Bill Walton has nothing but praise.  The Nets beat the Warriors 107-100 - not a typo - the Nets won their first home game of the season improving their overall record to 4-11...
