Papa Manning Proud To See Eli Win In Peyton's Building

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Archie Manning got to see his son Eli win his second Super Bowl championship, this time in the city where Peyton made his career.

Eli Manning was chosen MVP of the New York Giants’ 21-17 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday night. For the second time in four years, he led the Giants on a last-minute touchdown drive that beat the Patriots for the title.

The week leading up to the game was overshadowed by talk about whether Eli’s older brother Peyton will be back with the Colts next season after missing a year because of neck operations.

Archie Manning said after the game on Sunday that “it’s special” to see Eli win a title in the stadium where his other son has excelled.

  1. Christie: the Governor that ate NJ says:

Jerry stop whining and suck it up. Your team got beaten by the Giants, not once but in TWO SUPER BOWLS, get over it!

But speaking of class…yes, nothing say class like cheating. The Giants didn’t cheat their way to the top as Belicheat & the Cheatriots did!

Eli didin’t win the team did. Tom Brady has more class than all three of you.
He didn’t blame Welker or the receivers for causing the loss by dropping passes. Tom Said we lost as a team and I share the blame. Some my passes
could have been better especially the one to Welker that was incomplete in the 4th. quarter. What his wife said was after she had been hecked by low class
Giant fans. You had better enjoy it while it lasts because low class players and teams never stay on top.
