Driver Shot To Death In Suffolk County Sunday
BOHEMIA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County Police are investigating the death of a man who was shot while driving on Sunrise Highway in Bohemia.
Police say Bennie Rouse, 22, was driving westbound at 4 a.m. when he was shot by someone in a vehicle that pulled up next to his car.
The Central Islip man pulled his vehicle onto the shoulder of the roadway and an acquaintance, who was following in a separate vehicle, brought him to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.
Rouse was pronounced dead at the Hospital.
A female passenger in Rouse's vehicle was not injured.
