Sketch Released In Cliffside Park Sexual Assaults

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - Authorities have released a sketch of the man they say sexually assaulted two little girls in their Cliffside Park, New Jersey home on Wednesday.

It's believed an intruder entered the home of a Cliffside Park family through the back, and, once inside, went upstairs to the bedrooms where two young girls were sexually assaulted.

"I heard screaming, screeching screams," neighbor Faryd Marin told CBS 2's Sean Hennessey.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office describes the suspect as a thin white male, between 5'7" and 5'10" with possibly green eyes and brown hair, aged 18 to 25. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

The break in and assaults are alleged to have taken place between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. at the home on Washington Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to please contact Cliffside Park police at 201-945-3600 or the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office tip line at 201-226-5634.
