Police Arrest Pair Of Burglary Suspects On Long Island

MIDDLE ISLAND, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County Police arrested two men for a burglary in Middle Island Saturday.

Officers responded to a 911 call at 7 p.m. after, they say, a female resident entered her home on Fairview Circle and found two burglars inside.

Both men fled the scene and were apprehended a short time later by Officers Douglas Libonati and Janine Lesiewicz.

Edward Krolick, 22, and Jack Carson, 21, were charged with 2nd Degree Burglary.

Police said the pair will be held overnight at the Seventh Precinct. They're scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.
