Free Agent QB Brady Quinn To Reportedly Meet With Jets Friday

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- The Jets' search for a viable backup to quarterback Mark Sanchez continues .

According to multiple reports, the team will host Denver Broncos free agent Brady Quinn on Friday.

After a disappointing stint in Cleveland, Quinn, a first-round pick in the 2007 NFL draft, served as insurance for Tim Tebow and Kyle Orton last season in Denver.

Detroit Lions backup Drew Stanton will also reportedly meet with the team for the second straight day.

"I'd be surprised if Stanton doesn't sign w/the Jets," Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press tweeted Thursday. "They called him a few minutes after FA opened. He's there tonight and tomorrow."

Stanton, 27, didn't throw a regular-season pass for Detroit in 2011.

The Jets were thought to have interest in former Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne, who signed a two-year contract with Jacksonville Thursday.

Safety Reggie Nelson will also reportedly meet with the Jets on Friday.

Jets fans, is Quinn the answer? Stanton? Sound off below...
