VIDEO: Patriots' Rob Gronkowski Jokes He'd Take Tim Tebow's Virginity
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is back in the headlines.
In a video uploaded to YouTube on April 12, Gronkowski was asked by a female student to play a popular game in which three names are given, and the recipient is tasked with choosing which to marry, which to kill and which to have sex with.
The choices were Jets coach Rex Ryan, 90-year-old actress Betty White and NFL sensation Tim Tebow, according to the video's description. Only "Betty White" and "Tim Tebow" could be heard as the recording cut in late.
"Well, I would 'F' Tebow to take his virginity," the tight end replied.
With the crowd in thick applause, the 24-second clip ended before Gronkowski could deliver his take on White or Ryan.
The video was reportedly taken Thursday at the University of Rhode Island, where Gronkowski was scheduled to appear for an engagement called "An Evening With Gronk."
Tebow was a media darling in Denver, and not much has changed since his trade to New York. The 24-year-old has repeatedly -- and proudly -- declared his devotion to Christian beliefs, which include abstinence until marriage.
Gronkowski has been no stranger to controversy. The big tight end came under fire in New England when video surfaced of him dancing shirtless on stage during a performance by LMFAO, seemingly unfazed by the Patriots' loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI earlier that night.
