NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Two New York police officers were injured on Saturday night in connection with a series of anarchist-related arrests in Manhattan.
A group of twenty-five anarchists allegedly tried to smash windows at a Starbucks on Astor Place and Lafayette and took to the streets chanting “cops are murderers” and “all pigs must die”, according to police.READ MORE: NASA Rocket Launch Friday Night Could Be Visible In Tri-State Area

Eric Marchese, 24 of Brentwood was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Alexander Penly, 41, of New York was charged with assault, menacing, disorderly conduct and a number of other charges.
