WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Jury selection begins Tuesday in a high-profile murder case in Westchester County.
Narcy Novack is accused of hiring hit men to kill her husband at the Rye Town Hilton Hotel in 2009. Novack’s husband was Ben Novack Jr., 53, whose father built the famous Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach.READ MORE: COVID Hospitalizations Drop For 4th Straight Day Across New York State
Prosecutors say Novack had her husband killed to secure his $10 million estate for herself. Her husband was beaten and stabbed to death.

Narcy Novack’s brother, Cristobal Veliz, 57, of Brooklyn, is a co-defendant in both killings.
The judge has ruled that prosecutors will not be able to bring up information about an incident in 2002 in which Novack allegedly tied up her husband and removed valuables from their home.
