Lavish Doggy Wedding Raises Funds For Humane Society Of New York

The social event of the season took place Thursday night - and if you weren't invited, don't worry about it. We've got your all-access ticket.

A wealthy animal rights activist broke the Guinness World Record for the most expensive animal wedding, held at the Jumeirah Essex House on Central Park South. The event was valued at $250,000.

Vendors donated their services to the black tie event which benefited the Humane Society of New York.

That includes a $6,000 wedding dress for the tiny Coton de Tulear custom-made by Kleinfeld, a seven-piece orchestra for $15,000 and a $5,000 sushi spread.

The wedding was thrown by pet expert and TV personality Wendy Diamond.

Her adopted rescue dog, Baby Hope, tied the knot with Chilly Pasternak, a Virginia poodle, in an arranged marriage.
The groom, Chilly, visited "The Couch" with his mom, Lori Pasternak, and Mr. Manners himself, Tom Farley, who watched the pooches pledge their love to each other.
