Little Big Town Announces Release Date, Reveals Track List And Cover For 'Tornado!'
You’ve already heard the smashing summer hit and lead single “Pontoon” and now Little Big Town has announced the release date for their complete studio album, Tornado. The eleven track album (see list below), with Little Big Town co-writing nearly half of the tracks is set for release on September 11th. Cover Photo here.
If the success of “Pontoon” is a temperature gauge for the rest of the album, you will be hearing a lot more of Little Big Town’s signature energy and harmony on country radio. Selling over 520,000 tracks in only eight weeks, “Pontoon” is the band’s fastest rising single to date and is currently sitting in the Top 15 on Billboard’s country radio chart. The official YouTube music video has been viewed over 1.7 million times.
The video was filmed at Percy Priest Lake in Nashville and Karen Fairchild told People Magazine “there’s a famous part of the lake [that] people call ‘party cove’ – [which is] a great place to dock boats and party,” which is what the music video is all about. The video also features a brief cameo by Blake Shelton. You can also see a live performance from the CMT Music Awards of “Pontoon."
