Police: Robbery Suspect Strikes At 2 Different Banks, Minutes Apart

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a suspect wanted in a Brooklyn and Queens bank robbery pattern.

Authorities said that on Monday the suspect passed a note to a teller at a Chase Bank on Graham Avenue in Brooklyn before fleeing with an unknown amount of money.

Due to the description of the suspect, police believe he is also responsible for five other incidents in Queens between July 22 and July 26, including hits on a Citibank and HSBC bank on Queens Boulevard, just minutes apart.

In all the incidents, except one, the suspect entered the bank, demanded money and fled with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5-foot-7, between 175 and 190 pounds with the word "Tension" tattooed on his neck.
