B&C Morning Show: 'Papa Bear' Archie Manning Calls-In To Gloat About His Boys
Archie Manning called into the hotline this morning to offer his view on the start of the NFL season, beginning with his son Peyton's highly anticipated return Sunday night against the Steelers in Denver, which culminated in a 31-19 Broncos win.
The elder Manning seemed pleased with Peyton's relocation to the Mile High City from Indianapolis, saying it was probably the best thing for everyone involved, including the Colts' new signal caller, Andrew Luck - whom he has known since he was in junior high.
From there, I'm sure the proud papa was blushing on the other end of the phone, as Boomer praised the maturation of Eli since coming into the league back in 2007. Archie summed things-up by declaring that Eli has always been a mama's boy, before saying farewell...
