Travel & Leisure Magazine Ranks NYC As America's Dirtiest City
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York City has topped Travel and Leisure magazine's annual list of the dirtiest cities in America.
The Big Apple moved into the number one slot after ranking fifth last year after 35,000 readers were polled by the magazine. It also took first place for being the loudest and rudest city.

According to Travel and Leisure, the dirtiest cities tend to be big with a bustling nightlife and lots of young partiers.
Rounding out the top five of America's filthiest is New Orleans, Baltimore, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
But it wasn't all bad news. New York ranked first for stylish locals, luxury store and theaters.
