The latest incident happened Monday in Bergenfield. A 12-year-old boy told police a man accosted him and offered him money to get into his pickup truck, authorities said.

The boy described the truck as a Toyota with white fenders, a mint green driver's side door, a black hood and a rusted red bed.

Police said the suspect is a white man in his 50s, is balding with cracked or missing teeth and was possibly wearing a fake white mustache.

The boy was shown composite sketches of suspects from similar luring incidents from around Bergen County and picked out the sketch of a suspect in Westwood as the man who accosted him, police said.

"Well, what's scary is that it seems like there's more than one. That is really upsetting and it seems to be different guys and they have different MOs," parent Ellen Losome told WCBS 880 reporter Sean Adams.

As a precaution, neighboring Dumont and New Milford want children home by 8 p.m. on Halloween and mischief nights.
