Country Night Lassos Up Perfect Scores On 'Dancing With The Stars'

Grab your cowboy boots and hats, it's country night on Dancing With The Stars!

Though the "Ya'll Stars" were dressed in their finest giddy-ups, many entered the competition feeling a bit out of their element, not only because of the style, but also with family and friends on the east coast weighing heavy on their minds.

Despite the impact of Hurricane Sandy hitting the east, the show continued on with many thoughts and prayers sent out to loved ones, including from host Tom Bergeron.

Last week, the final eight felt the pressure more than ever having to learn their individual routines plus the steps in a group dance. Not to mention, last time around, no one was eliminated meaning this week two All-Stars will have to say goodbye.

But with the playing field leveled this time around, the lowest scoring stars from last week were given a chance to boost their numbers, which will be a combination of three scores: last week's solo performance, group dance and tonight's routine.

Two competitors stood out in the night, earning perfect scores from the judges and solidifying their leads. 

The first 30 was handed out to Sabrina Bryan, whose emotional Rumba to Hunter Hayes's "Wanted" left her heart on the dance floor. Leave it to a painful former love to bring out the vulnerability that the judges have been waiting to see from Bryan all this time. The emotion definitely paid off earning her a total score of 88.5 out of a possible 90.

Apolo Anto Ohno followed up Bryan's perfect 30 with tens across the board for himself. Dedicated to family members inflicted by cancer, Ohno danced his elegant Viennese Waltz to Rascal Flatt's "Skin (Sarah Beth)." Len Goodman said the light and classy routine was "two people in perfect harmony" and Carrie Ann Inaba declared it Ohno's "breakthrough" dance. But he didn't do the dance just for the scores.

Going into this week's dance still battling a neck injury, Melissa Rycroft earned some big reactions to her Viennese Waltz and even spurred some bickering between Carrie Ann and Bruno. While both Len and Bruno thought her routine and solo was "exquisite," Carrie Ann thought Melissa needed to "dance out" more, which didn't sit well with Bruno. In the end, Melissa earned one of the highest scores of the night with 29.5 and a combined total of 86, but her thoughts were clearly on the safety of loved ones on the east coast.

NFL star Emmitt Smith couldn't round up high enough numbers despite his uninhibited foxtrot that Bruno exclaimed was a "country fun-fair." While his routine scored big on entertainment with his hip shaking, lassoing solo, the judges agreed Emmitt didn't have his best night technically and lacked finesse in his moves, which earned him the lowest score of the night with 26.5 and combined total of 82.5.

Though Kirstie Alley and Kelly Monaco were in full comeback mode from last week, they joined Emmitt in the bottom three. However, it was Kirstie and Maks who earned the two extra bonus points during the group dance to a live performance from Big And Rich's "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy," boosting their score to 29.5 for a combined total of 82.

Tonight, two All-Stars will be eliminated from the competition - here are the current standings with both week's scores.
