John Vahidi Will Respond To His Name, So If You See Him, Please Call NYPD

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — An autistic teen has been found safe, after vanishing from the Saks Fifth Avenue store in Midtown on Friday.

John Vahidi, 19, was found just before midnight Friday night on Lexington Avenue and 43rd Street. He was in the process of locating his parents, authorities said.

Vahidi was shopping with family when he had last been seen among holiday shoppers in the shoe department sometime around 5 p.m. Friday.

He is from Brooklyn.
