Man's Arm, Leg Severed By Train In Ulster County
ULSTER, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A man was hospitalized this weekend after his right arm and leg were severed by a train in Ulster County.
New York State troopers said the man was spotted lying beside the tracks in the town of Ulster shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday. The man was conscious and complaining of the cold at the time.
The man was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. Police did not release his name.
It was not known why the man was on the tracks, or when he was hit.
