Princeton Routs The College Of New Jersey 71-33

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — Freshman Hans Brase posted his first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 15 rebounds as Princeton routed College of New Jersey 71-33 Sunday.

The Tigers (8-7), playing their first game since Jan. 12 because of finals, have won three straight and five of their past six. The 33 points allowed was their fewest since defeating Rice 51-28 in January 2007.

The Division III Lions (5-15) playing their second game in a span of 25 hours, fell behind 9-0 and trailed 39-17 at intermission after Princeton closed the half with a 20-3 run.

The Tigers had a 60-30 rebounding advantage.

Princeton shot only 36.2 percent (21 of 58), but held the Lions to 23 percent (14 of 61), the lowest for an opponent since the 2002 Division III game against McDaniel College, then Western Maryland, shot 18.2 percent.

Emmanuel Matlock and D.J. Keegan scored 10 apiece for TCNJ.
