Police Search For Suspect Wanted In Bronx Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man they say is wanted for a robbery.

Authorities released surveillance images of the suspect on Sunday.

According to police, the suspect approached his victim from behind, grabbed him by the neck, threw him to the ground and robbed him. The suspect took the victim's wallet and then fled on foot.

The incident happened at an apartment on Wallace Avenue in the Baychester area of the Bronx on February 17 around 1 p.m.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s with a medium build and black hair. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and red shirt during the alleged robbery, according to police.
