La Toya Jackson Reveals Details About Personal Life In New Reality Show

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- The world is seeing a whole new side of La Toya Jackson.

She was last seen on Celebrity Apprentice -- but now, La Toya is giving us an intimate look at her life. Her new show, Life with La Toya, touches on everything from her famous family to her love life.

"It's time. You get so much going on in your life and people think they know you, and they don't. They think they know me and my family and they get it all wrong, and they just snowball these lies," Jackson said. "Now you get to see who we are, who I am."

The deeply personal show also reveals the difficulty of re-entering the dating scene following an abusive relationship.

"Women walk up to me all the time and say, 'how did you manage to escape?' And I want them to know that you can do the same thing," Jackson said. "You can escape. It doesn't matter how many times it takes, you can start your life over again, too. You can start over and over and over and over again until you feel that you're getting it right."
