Reports: Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing, Urinating On Fellow Hospital Patient

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was charged late last week with sexually abusing and urinating on a fellow patient at Harlem Hospital, according to a published reports.

The woman, 45, had been given painkillers for a hurt foot at the hospital and had dozed off, the New York Post and Daily News reported. When she awoke, she saw the suspect rubbing his genitals on her mouth, the newspapers reported.

The victim tried to escape, only to find herself being splashed by a warm liquid and to discover that the man was urinating on her, the papers reported.

The man, Tyrone Brown, 49, was apprehended by hospital staff and charged by hospital authorities with committing a criminal sex act, the papers reported. He was then taken to Bellevue Hospital for a psychiatric exam.

Brown has a criminal record dating back more than 30 years, largely on theft-related charges, the Post reported.
