Report: Knicks In Talks To Land Raptors' Andrea Bargnani

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Several media outlets are reporting that the New York Knicks will be acquiring Toronto Raptors' Andrea Bargnani.

The Knicks will be sending Marcus Camby, Steve Novak and several picks including the 2016 first round draft pick.

Bargnani is a 7-foot center and forward, who is owed $22 million over the next two years.

Bargnani, who is from Italy, was the first pick of the 2006 NBA Draft.

He has averaged 15 points and five rebounds with the Raptors, last season his numbers were down averaging just 13 points and four rebounds.

Bargnani could be the backup to Stoudemire or Chandler at center, or could move to power forward which would move Carmelo Anthony to small forward.
