Music World Mourns Hit-Maker J.J. Cale, 74

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The music world mourned the death of the man behind a long list of hits on Saturday.

John Weldon Cale, better known as J.J. Cale wrote Eric Clapton's 'After Midnight' and 'Travelin Light'. Cale also penned hits for Lynyrd Skynyrd, and had his work covered by Johnny Cash and the Allman Brothers.

Cale died of a heart attack on Friday night at a California Hospital, he was 74.
