The Copiague man was taken into custody a short time later.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that Joas had 69 suspensions or revocations on his license.

Joas has been charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, resisting arrest, false personation and criminal possession of marijuana.

He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Aug. 3.
