NYPD: Suspects Pose As Federal Agents During S.I. Hotel Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for three men who they said posed as federal agents during an armed robbery on Staten Island.
The incident happened at the Hilton Garden Inn on South Avenue in Bulls Head on Aug. 8.
The suspects walked into the hotel and identified themselves as agents while flashing a shield and a handgun, police said.
The suspects, believed to be in their 20s, then assaulted four people before fleeing with a duffel bag, police said.
