Brooklyn Man Arrested In Double-Murder Case

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have made an arrest in connection with a double homicide last week in Brooklyn.

Raul Correa, 59, is charged with two counts of murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, police said Tuesday. He allegedly gunned down two men Friday night in East New York.

Correa lives on the same street where the shootings occurred.

Police arrived around 8:35 p.m. Friday to find the two men lying in front of 202 Pennsylvania Ave. in Brooklyn, each with one gunshot wound to the chest.

The men were taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. One of them -- Tevin Beckles, 21, of Brooklyn -- was pronounced dead shortly afterward, police said.

The second man -- Randolph Williams, 37, of Brooklyn -- was initially listed in critical condition at the hospital, but was pronounced dead Saturday morning.
