Police: Man Got On Bus In Brooklyn, Groped Driver

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A search was under way Saturday morning for a suspect who allegedly groped the driver of a bus he was riding in Brooklyn.

Around 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, the 27-year-old female bus driver was operating a Metropolitan Transportation Authority B6 bus, when the suspect got on at Coney Island Avenue and Avenue J in the Midwood section of Brooklyn.

While on the moving bus, the suspect grabbed the woman's groin area and got off when the bus stopped at 77th Street and Bay Parkway, police said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds, with a light complexion.

In a surveillance video, he is seen wearing jeans and a black T-shirt with a Levis logo, eating something with one hand and holding a coffee cup in the other.
