FAO Schwarz Helps To Bring Magic Of Holidays To Children
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has teamed up with one of the most famous toy stores in the world.
As 1010 WINS' Juliet Papa reported, FAO Schwarz on Fifth Avenue is once again collecting donations to benefit the foundation. The store is also hosting a special event Friday to help drum up as many cash and toy donations as possible.
FAO Schwarz Helps To Bring Magic Of Holidays To Children
The holiday party, which features carolers, a military color guard and the store's toy soldier mascot, runs through 4 p.m.
All funds donated to FAO Schwarz through Christmas Eve will help the program purchase toys for children who might otherwise go without a gift on Christmas morning.
