Police Searching For Flushing, Queens Rape Suspect

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are searching for a man wanted for raping a woman Wednesday night in Flushing, Queens.

According to police, Wu Lin, 35, raped his 31-year-old victim in a car parked along Kissena Park around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Lin is accused of assaulting the woman, burning her hair and clothing and sexually assaulted her.

The woman was eventually able to escape from the car.

Lin and his victim are known to each other, police said.

Lin is described as an Asian man, five feet seven inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
