Police: Mom From Elizabeth, N.J. Has Been Missing For Over A Week

ELIZABETH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Elizabeth, N.J. on Tuesday were asking the public to help find a 33-year-old mother who has been missing for more than a week.

Karla Villagra-Garzon, who has a 2-year-old child, has not been seen since around 10:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, police said.

She reportedly walked out of her home in the 800 block of East Jersey Street to go to a Walgreens drugstore at 600 Newark Ave. in Elizabeth, and was not seen again.

Villagra-Garzon is 5 feet tall and weighs 120 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes, police said. She was believed to be wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and black rain boots.
