Comedian Jimmy Failla May Feel TLC's Venom Over Snake Prank On Riders

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- You've heard of "Snakes On Plane," but how about "Snakes In A Cab"?

Jimmy Failla, a comedian who used to drive yellow cabs, rented a taxi, put a snake in it and then recorded the reactions of horrified passengers, 1010 WINS reported.

The "Snakes In A Cab" bit uses a 10-foot albino python. The video shows people losing it as the snake slithers through the partition into the back seat.

The comic said there was a snake handler in the cab the whole time, but the Taxi and Limousine Commission is considering pulling Failla's license.

The video starts out with a panicked customer screaming at Failla through his window just after she jumped out of the cab.

"You should've told me you didn't like snakes," the comedian fires back.

Many of the riders drop F-bombs as soon as they see the snake. "Get me out this (expletive) car right now," one man says.

"What kind of cab is this?" a woman yells at Failla from the back seat.

Cabbies whom 1010 WINS' John Montone spoke with weren't amused either.

"It is not funny," one driver said. "This guy is sick."

"That's not funny," another said. "Snake is dangerous animal. You don't play with that."

On Twitter, Failla appeared to be reveling in all the attention.

"I feel like the kid who got called to the principals office over the loudspeaker," he wrote in one tweet.

"I'd like to thank the academy, the snake handler, and all the you tube commentators who told me to die," another tweet said.
