Line Grows As Hopefuls Wait For Applications To Plumber's Apprentice Program

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A line was growing outside of the Plumbers Local Union 1, in Long Island City, on Sunday night.

People were camping out in hopes of getting an application for the plumber's apprentice program. The union was reportedly planning to hand out 1,000 applications, on Monday morning.

The union will select 100 applicants from the pool.

Some hopefuls staked out their spots on Thursday.
