OCEAN CITY, N.J.(CBSNewYork) — A search and rescue was underway at the Jersey shore on Sunday night.

A 14-year-old swimmer and his friends were in the water off of Ocean City, when they were pulled out by the current.

Beach patrol was able to rescue at least two people, but the teen slipped out of view. The Coast Guard, along with state and local rescue crews joined the search on Sunday night.
