ROXBURY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – While the women in these photos may look different, it’s really the same person, just with a different hair color.
As CBS 2’s Christine Sloan reported, police say the woman in the photo is part of a large crime ring that is breaking into cars in New Jersey.

Police say the criminals try to hit as many banks as they can within an hour of their thefts, before alerts can go out.
At TD Bank in Sayreville, the female suspect cashed in on $2,000.
The woman in the photo was last seen in a gold Hyundai Santa Fe.

“I think it’s the same person with a wig on. She has the same sweater, same mannerisms, the hand held the same way on the wheel,” Roxbury resident Alison Kohler said.
“I think it’s horrible. Men, yeah, but not a woman,” one woman said, reacting to the
In June, there were two break-ins at Horseshoe Lake in Roxbury and two more at a park in Mount Olive.
“This neighborhood is real quiet. We get visitors from all over the state,” Mount Olive resident Jack Harrington said.
Not only are the suspects stealing purses, they’re also swiping license plates off cars and placing them on cars they’re using.
So far, the suspects have stolen more than $10,000.
