Police: Suspect Sought After Teen Killed, 3 Others Hurt In Bronx Stabbing

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a suspect who they said stabbed a teen to death and wounded three others during a house party in the Bronx.

Police were called to a home around 3 a.m. Sunday on Barnes Avenue in Morris Heights.

When they arrived, they found 14-year-old Justin Fallu was stabbed in the chest, police said. Two 18-year-old teens and a 17-year-old male had also been stabbed, police said.

All four were taken to Jacobi Hospital where Fallu died, police said. The other three are recovering.

Fallu's uncle said the teen came from a good family and was too young to have enemies.

"Good kid; no guns, no nothing," he said. "So why would they take his life like that?"

Police said they are now searching for a suspect who goes by the nickname "Shaq." He is described as a black man in his late teens to early 20s who was last seen wearing a light blue du-rag, blue jeans, a red shirt and had a knife.

Authorities have released a photo of the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or text tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
