David Wilson's NFL career was cut short by a degenerative neck condition, but that hasn't dampened the 23-year-old's spirits. That much was evident Monday morning when he visited with Boomer and Craig in the Allstate Studio on behalf of Van Heusen.

Boomer and Craig both shared how much they admire Wilson for the manner in which he has handled his unfortunate circumstances.  Wilson cited the fact that he's a middle child and has always aimed to make those around him happy, going on to reference those who may look up to him and not wanting to let them down.

Wilson's good vibrations were obvious and he is currently hoping to represent the United States in the 2016 Olympics in the triple jump.

Before saying goodbye, Wilson talked about some of his former Giants teammates, including Eli Manning, before claiming to bench well over 400 pounds and getting some Junk Balm as a parting gift (pictured below).
