Report: Some Jets Tickets For MNF Selling For As Little As $10

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Looking for something fun to do tonight?

Head to East Rutherford and watch a primetime NFL game. It certainly won't break the bank.

According to SeatGeek, some tickets for Monday night's Dolphins-Jets game at MetLife Stadium have been resold for $10.

Bloomberg.com reports that those are the least expensive regular-season NFL tickets in the history of MetLife Stadium. The website adds that the average resale price is $64.

"In fact, Jets-Dolphins is a significantly cheaper ticket than this year's Jets-Giants preseason game on Aug. 22," Connor Gregoire, an analyst for SeatGeek, told Bloomberg.com in an e-mail. "The average resale price for that exhibition was $74, and the prevailing get-in price in the days leading up to it was $38."

For some perspective on how cheap these tickets are, Bloomberg.com reports that "Horrible Bosses 2" can be seen at AMC Clifton Commons 16 -- located just five miles from MetLife Stadium -- for $12.62.

Disappointment and a lack of success lead to anger and sadness, which then turns into apathy. The Jets are 2-9, in last place in the AFC East, and will miss the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season.

Head coach Rex Ryan is expected to get fired once the campaign wraps up, and general manager John Idzik could be on his way out, too.

After Monday night, the Jets will have one more game at MetLife Stadium in 2014 -- against the rival Patriots on December 21.
