NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — An overturned tractor-trailer made a mess of the morning commute in Queens.
It happened around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on the Long Island Expressway between Main Street and Kissena Boulevard in Flushing.READ MORE: Man Slashed In Head Inside Times Square Subway Station
Police said the tractor-trailer jackknifed and flipped and some of the cars it was carrying toppled off and overturned. No other vehicles were involved, but at least one person was hurt.READ MORE: Caught On Camera: Innocent Children Caught In Middle Of Brazen Shooting In The Bronx
All eastbound lanes were closed for about two and a half hours but have since reopened. Westbound traffic was backed up.
