FDNY: 18 Hurt, Including 3 Firefighters, At Bronx Blaze
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Several people were injured after a fire broke out Tuesday morning at a Bronx building.
The fire broke out at around 4:30 a.m. on Washington Avenue near East 169th Street in Claremont.
Ten people were taken to the hospital. Two were in serious but stable condition, officials said. Five people refused medical attention.
Three firefighters suffered injuries. One was in serious but stable condition.
The main body of the fire was quickly knocked down.
