NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A Brooklyn teacher was arrested Thursday, on allegations that he sexually assaulted a teenage boy and offered to pay him to have sex with other adults.

Wards Grant, 37, was accused of committing the acts with the 16-year-old boy between Nov. 20 and Dec. 19 of last year, sources told CBS2.

The boy told police that he was walking home from school in November when the suspect approached him and asked if he “wanted to make some money,” sources said.

The suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the boy, and also allegedly offered him up to other adults for sex in exchange for cash, sources said.
