PISCATAWAY, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — Michigan State (13-7, 4-3) and Rutgers (10-11, 2-6) will make up their snow-postponed Big Ten Conference men’s basketball game on Thursday night.
Rutgers announced the makeup date on Tuesday, the day the game was originally supposed to be played. Tipoff will be at 6 p.m.
The game was postponed on Monday after Gov. Chris Christie declared a state of emergency with forecasts of a blizzard threatening to bring 2 feet of snow to New Jersey. The storm fell far short of predictions.
