Elderly Woman Killed In Rockaway Beach Apartment Fire
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) - Police say a 77-year-old woman has died in an apartment fire in Queens.
The fire was reported at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday in a seventh-floor apartment on Shore Front Parkway in Rockaway Beach.
Firefighters found the woman unconscious in the apartment. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
No other injuries were reported from the fire.
