Bayonne Luxury Apartment Complex Residents Warned About Rash Of Burglaries
BAYONNE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Residents of a luxury apartment complex in Bayonne, New Jersey, are worried about a rash of burglaries.
"If I can't come home safely, it's a problem," Amy Aviles said, who lives at the Alexan CityView complex.
Resident Amy Jones told 1010 WINS' Darius Radzius the property manager is warning people who live there of the burglaries.
"They put a notice on everybody's door that said don't walk outside alone at night, make sure your door locks are functioning properly," she said.

Detectives handling the cases were not available for comment Saturday, but residents said their luxury apartment building is a magnet for crime.
"There were some cars that were vandalized in the garage when we first moved here about a month ago, somebody was robbed here in the clubhouse at one point," Jones said.
Management has not yet responded to 1010 WINS' request for comment.
