TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Memorial Day marks the start of the busy season for many law enforcement officers.

New Jersey State Police have stepped up patrols on the Hudson River.

Troopers say the water is much like the highways on Memorial Day weekend, there’s a lot of congestion.
